I'm sick of hearing racial jokes. Like suddenly you're jewish if your annoying. "what are you, a jew?" or "shutup you jew" or for arabs people say things like "don't talk to me you terrorist" I hear it all the time. Since when did people become so hurtful to others. Be proud of what you are. Don't let anyone put you down because of your religion, sex, or race.
great shot...i like how the star looks branded on to your hand-like its part of who you are that you cant change...i also like how your hand is right in front of the camera and covering most of your face...im not sure if you had a specific reason for that but to me it seems like either people cant see you without seeing a jew or that you are proud of what you are and you want people to know that...not sure if its either of those but i thought it could be...also, your eye looks beautiful

I love the message you're sending. Very few people actually address or even mention the issue though stereotyping in general still very much exists. *love the photo

I love the message you give out here. I am a Christian and I am very proud. I love this photo as well. Always be proud of what you are and don't let anyone put you down!
powerful picture.
im glad someone else is proud enough to stand up for what they believe in. im right up there with you (actually, a step behind because i'm not really all that bold) because i hate hearing people say stupid things to others about race or anything else. even when they're joking, it just bothers me. i think the world would be wise to open their eyes a little wider and remember that we are humans first, which makes us all the same. differences like religion, sex, or race are so minor. they're just what makes us unique, and we should celebrate that rather than downtrod it.
I hope more people see this, and that it makes them think more positively.

and not to pull your halo down around your neck and tug you to the ground but i'm more than just a little curious how you're planning to go around making your amends to the dead.
This needs to be annouced to the world. You're absolutely correct. Especillay in schools. This goes around so much. It's disgusting and annoying! I SUPPORT YOU ALL THE WAY!
That's a cool pic. I like the brightness of it, and how you could see yer eye through yer fingers. And I like the story behind it. Things like that piss me off too. I'm Mexican, so I get all that "wetback" "border hopping" "orange seller" crap. I respect those people that sell oranges by the freeway... at least they have an honest job and aint fucking prostetuting themselves or laying around like bums. And plus.. the oranges are good!!!

Yay for oranges! Yeah, people are very ignorant sometimes. They don't look past their own religion, they respond to what their parents, news, and shows say. People should open there eyes. Thanks for the comment!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
